🏡 For Life’s Big Shifts — and the Dogs Who Live Through Them

Sometimes life calls for a change — whether it’s adopting a rescue dog, bringing home a new baby, moving caves, or blending a new pack together.
Big transitions can be exciting… and overwhelming (for both humans and dogs). That’s where we come in.
Our Welcome Home lessons help dogs adjust, adapt, and settle into the new normal — with trust, structure, and a little prehistoric wisdom.
Here are two of our most requested:
"Rescue Runes & Rituals" (rescue dog transition support)
"Baby Meets Beast" (puppy or dog + new baby dynamics)
Have a different life change on the horizon? If it affects your dog’s world, it qualifies.
Let’s make the transition smooth — together.

Rescue Runes
& Rituals

Thinking of giving a dog a second chance?
You might be wondering:
🦴 Will my current dog be cool with this?
🐱 What if my cat starts writing passive-aggressive messages in the litter box?
⏳ How long does it take for everyone to actually like each other?
👀 Is that “calm” dog at the shelter just in freeze mode?
Don’t worry — you don’t need to figure it out with a club and a cave drawing.
A Myriad of Characters to get used to
Yes, your family has to get used to the new dog but your rescued dog didn't just join a family - they joined a full-blown ensemble cast. Here's a glimpse at the chaos they're quietly trying to decode:

Bonding &
Establishing Behavior
Loving bonds flourish… over time
Adopting a dog obviously means you have a heart full of love to give - and you will earn your angel wings. But love, like in any relationship, still takes time to flourish. Even though a bond can happen quickly, you are welcoming a dog who may have been in a shelter environment or even in foster homes for a while. In some cases your new dog may have no history of training or even basic manners. A newly rescued dog who has no idea (yet) that you intend to be his forever home. Hugs and kisses, while welcome, are not 'dog speak' for, this must be my new home, I better be a super good dog, so it lasts a lifetime.
The Unspoken Truth
You are the strongest influence when you welcome your dog home because you have zero conditioned habits together. This means you can plan ahead deliberately, and shape good habits easily as you get to know each other. You can prevent separation anxiety from the get go, and also potential behavior issues on the horizon. Yes, regardless of a dog’s previous history.
If your dog has deeply ingrained issues from trauma, and you are aware of these experiences, you are still the strongest in the beginning of your relationship, and it's ideal to have a plan and understanding of what it will take to manage or resolve potential issues. You can nurture any dog to a state of confidence. You both deserve it! After all, you may be together for over a decade.
In this consultation, we will:
Sniff out red flags or green lights in your adoption match
🏡 Talk through home setup, slow intros, and peaceful coexistence
🧠 Cover decompression, pack dynamics, and realistic timelines and expectations
💬 Answer your “What Ifs” before you commit, if you're starting early
And much more...
Because in addition to a heart full of love, adding a new packmate is part magic, part strategy. Remember you are potentially planning for the next decade or more.
Baby Meets Beast
Baby steps start now...
Your dog’s about to meet the tiniest, loudest, most mysterious cave creature yet: the human baby. Sure, you can Google. You can scroll forums. You can get advice from your mom, your neighbor, or that one friend who swears dogs “will just know” what to do. But here's the truth: your dog, your baby, and your life aren’t generic—so why settle for generic advice?
This session gives you a personalized blueprint that sets everyone up to succeed. Your dogs, your family, your habits, and your soon-to-shift household.
We cover what the internet forgets: emotions, instincts, routines, space, and the real-time reactions that come when the baby cries, squirms, or claims the dog’s old spot on the couch.
Start now—before baby arrives and the barking, bouncing, or confusion begins —not when tensions are high and sleep is low. For the love of your baby. For the love of your dog. And for the peace of your cave.
